Located in the heart of a warm climate and the famous bed of pebble soils (galets roulés), the terraced vineyards of Château de la Gardiole (the estate behind this beauty) give birth to an exceptional wine. In the Southern Rhône appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, on the Courthézon hillside, it benefits from a soft sedimentary sandy clay terroir in prime location, just 300 meters west of Chateau Beaucastel. This contributes to the fullness and finesse of the final wine, with creamy, lightly toasted aromas.
