Chateau Le Loup NV.jpg

Chateau Le Loup is located at the northern edge of the Saint-Emilion appellation, east of the namesake town in the commune of Saint-Christophe des Bardes. Its name (Loup translates to wolf) comes from a lieu-dit (named vineyard) “Le Loup.” Local legend has it that in medieval times a wolf roamed this northern sector.
