Bordeaux
Bordeaux is located in the southwest of France on the Garonne River. With 120,000 hectares of the region covered in vineyards, it makes Bordeaux the largest wine growing area in France. Over 90% of the wines produced in the region are red and consist mostly of the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grape varietals.
