Champagne

Located in the northeast of France, this region is best known for the sparkling wine that bears the same name. This incredibly iconic wine is made up of a blend of grape varietals, usually Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. Pinot noir is the most widely planted grape in the Aube region, as the Pinot Meunier is the dominant grape in the Vallée de la Marne region and the Côte des Blancs is dedicated almost exclusively to Chardonnay.
